After taking this DISC test, I was pretty impressed with the results. It’s actually pretty crazy to me how on point it was. I read the description to what category I was in and it fit me perfectly. The category that the test placed me in was category “I.” I read the description to the other categories and they didn’t fit me much. I was pretty shocked and amazed. It’s funny also because my friend beside me was getting upset and aggressive throughout the whole questions. He definitely was fit for group D and that’s where he was placed. We were laughing about that the whole time.
If I had a choice, I wouldn’t really pick any other choice because none of them fit me. I wish that I could be more in the “d” category because I would love to be able to take charge, but that’s just not the type of thing I do.
I feel like it is very important to know what a person’s type is to better understand them. If you know the type of person you are dealing with, then you would at least know what you are going to be facing and how to act. If you know the type of person you are going to be dealing with them you will know what to expect so it should have you well prepared for when I meet the person.
Having a test like this in business interactions would be great because like I said before you will know what you’re dealing with. If you are going to meet with an important person, then you would have an idea of what type of person they are so you can prepared for your meeting.
John, from what I see in your class particition, you can wait to say or express your opition in any kind of subjet that you know about.I think really revealed who you are; which is a type "I".
ReplyDeleteI agree, companies should get a sense of the person they want to hire, however I don't believe they should not only based their opinion on the exam. I agree with you when you say it is a good way to prepare for the meet.
